Answering the Question? Hasn't it been OBVIOUS all these times?

NSWERING THE QUESTION!

Life is pondered. Experiments and investigation are made as life and its
origin is studied. In the process questions arise that are sometimes first
considered relative to theory and then proved or disproved through the
investigative process.

How many times have we heard the question: "WHAT CAME FIRST, the chicken
or the egg?" Yesterday, at msnbc.com, I read an article reporting British
scientists at Sheffield and Warwick universities have now claimed to have
solved this scientific and philosophical mystery. What they found was that
there is a protein -- found only in a chicken's ovaries -- that is necessary
for the egg to form. It is this protein that speeds up the hard shell's
development so the delicate yolk and fluids are protected once it is laid,
giving time for the chick to grow inside the egg. Their conclusion,
therefore, is that the egg could only exist if it was formed inside a
chicken. In the record of the Creation we read. . .

"(20) And God said, 'Let the waters swarm with swarms of living
creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the
heavens.' (21) SO GOD CREATED THE great sea creatures and EVERY LIVING
CREATURE THAT MOVES, with which the waters swarm, according to their kinds,
and EVERY WINGED BIRD ACCORDING TO ITS KIND. And God saw that it was good.
(22) And GOD BLESSED THEM, SAYING, 'BE FRUITFUL AND MULTIPLY and fill the
waters in the seas, and LET BIRDS MULTIPLY ON THE EARTH.' (23) And there was
evening and there was morning, the fifth day." (Genesis 1:20-23 ESV)

I've always believed the chicken CAME FIRST. The egg did not precede the
hen that laid it and then sat upon it to keep it warm. The hen was a part of
God's creation along with the other winged birds. Just as God did not form a
human embryo, but created a man, so the account of the rest of creation
seems to reveal the same. God began by creating the creatures and living
beings He wanted and from there each produced after its own kind. Therefore,
science has not solved, but merely affirmed the stage at which God brought
life into existence.

What a marvelous Creator we have! Let us remember that GOD HIMSELF
PRECEDED ALL THINGS since He has always been. That is why He is the great "I
AM"! (Exodus 3:14) He exists. Because of Him we exist. And because of Jesus
we have an eternal existence of which to look forward.

Have a great day KNOWING THE AUTHOR OF ALL LIFE!
Carl
