WoW!!! how time flies.. This group of students is making speedy progress in their P2. Amazing how we just covered all the syllabus in such a short time. The credit goes to all of you, of course, being so very attentive in class, diligent in doing your exercises. Well!! Bravo people... way to go. Remember to always exercise those grey cells of yours.

We are near to the closing of Paper 2 and will be embarking on Paper 4 next week. I love this class...they are rather interactive and responsive. WONDER what they'll come up with this coming Orientation Dinner... AMAZE ME..

Laugh break - What is love?

A group of children were asked the question "What is love?" Here are some of their replies. Which do you think were the best ones?

Question. What is love?

Answers.

"Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne, and they go out and smell each other." Karl (age 5).

"Love is when you tell a boy you like his shirt, and then he wears it every day." Noelle (7).

"Love is when you go out and give someone most of your French fries, without making them give you any of theirs." Chrissy (6).
(There is a lot of truth in that because if you love someone, that means you want the very best for them. You want good things to happen to them, even more than you want good things to happen to yourself. So if you give someone most of your French fries, without asking for anything in return, that is an expression of your love).

"Love is when mummy gives daddy the best part of the chicken." Elaine (5).
(Another expression of love. 'Mummy' is putting 'Daddy's' needs before her own. Jesus told us to love others as we love ourselves. Everyone loves themselves. Do you hit yourself, lie to yourself, or steal from yourself? No, of course not! You all treat yourselves well. If you are thirsty, do you say "Oh I can't be bothered giving you a drink right now" ? No, you just give yourself a drink. In the same way that we are good to ourselves, we should be just as good to others).

Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and talk instead. My mummy and daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss." Emily (8).

(A good answer. It is easy to be nice to people who are being nice to you, but very hard to be nice to those who are being nasty to you. But Jesus told us to "Love your enemies." Jesus wants us to be nice to everyone, even to those who are not nice back to us).

"There are two kinds of love, our love and God's love. But God made them both." Jenny (8).
(I think his is probably the best answer. The difference between human love and God's love is that human love is often conditional on the other person loving us back, whereas God's love is unconditional. Suppose you like someone, so start being good to them. If they are nice to you in return, you will carry on being nice to them - wonderful. But if that person is nasty to you in return, do you carry on being nice to them? Probably not. You probably won't want anything to do with that person anymore, or you may even start being nasty to them yourself. God's love is not like that. God's love is unconditional. He loves us because "God is love." He loves us even if we are nasty to others, Ignore Him, or even reject Him. These things all make God sad, but there is nothing anyone could possibly do that would ever make Him stop loving them. He always desires the very best for us).

Practice makes perfect. yES, I know, the questions are kinda difficult, but hey...they are structured for your level. So practise hard.

HARD DAY'S WORK

Saturdays and Sundays are always the most busiest days of my week. Bible knowledge classes for the Form 4, i-Youth song practices, i-Youth fellowships, Sunday School classes, Discpleship Course. Amidst all these activities, I am not complaining cos it is where i belong. With my brothers and sisters-in- Christ. My family.



Heh heh... i am not gonna complain of aches and pains... no no..

CHILDREN CELEBRATION

A new class

yeah, i have a new session with a totally new class. This class so far is rather interesting and quite interactive too. I hope i will enjoy teaching this class. First time in the history of my teaching CAT P2, i started on Chpt 7 and we (class and myself) found it ok... Hey!! they are good ler.. can understand the topic well. Bravo to you all. Keep it up. Most of them are from Datuk and St. Joe.. ATM that's all i can say about them... will keep all posted. Wanna share my 'experiences' with them..

Harrr...Monday already???

Wow... time sure flies.. and fast too. Look, we are in the middle of April and that's like another 8 months to 2008!!!

What have i done so far? Hehe... my MSN pm " I wanna be an FBI " that's is used to remind and remind and remind me that by the end of this year, I would be an FBI..a Faithful Bible Investigator.. YES!!! O yes i pray for my azam 2007 and God provided the way as He always will...He never fails.. as in the times of Abraham. Isaac, Jacob, Moses etc etc.. He is indeed Jehovah Jireh the Provider. So how did i make it so far? It is an uphill task. I am amazed and praise God for Aaron WIH who is already so faithful and committed in the task assigned. Aaron, is you are reading this, i want you to know that i am encouraged by you in the way you modelled yourself in the ministry. I pray that God will bless you tremendously and use you mightily too. Wow!!! Won't that be just great!?

SO how did i fare so far?
1. TO BE AN FBI - in process (though it is really really tough. Required A LOT of discipline - time discipline that is, for me anyway.)
2. Haven't evangelized to anyone yet this year (not counting the sunday school children).

A friend once asked, " Busy life? Is there any busy life for you?" Well, i said that a life is only busy if we live it with a purpose. Yeah, a Purpose Driven Life.
After going through the Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren, i am convicted that these are the two (2) purposes of my life:-

1. THE GREAT COMMANDMENT :
To love the Lord my God with all my heart, with all my soul, with all my mind, with all my strength; Love my neighbours as myself

2. THE GREAT COMMISSION:
Mat 28:19 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Mat 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.

Yupe! That's the TWO(2) purposes.

Yesterday, we had an evangelistic party for the children. It was fun.. the turnout was very encouraging. Hahaha... praise the Lord, my class was overcrowded... same went for the other classes too. i believed we hit over 120 children. Now we need to sort out the churched and un-churched so that we can carry out the Great Commission. Yeah! Teachers, bless everyone of you, you did a great job. Praise the Lord.
