Wanna share also paiseh eh… well… I love to scrap..ie scrapbooking and making cards using recycled materials but sigh sigh… the problem is I love browsing and watching videos on the processes but I don’t transcend that love into action。。 I invested heavily in  tools and materials even (not to mention that i started to hoard too on cardboards, cartons , scraps of paper , anything… which i deemed may be of use in the future)oh dear… the inspiration.. tis so near yet when i try to materialised it, it vapourised into thin air…. oh dear oh dear…..

The next ‘in thing’ for me is learning how to shoot… with a camera la… hahahahah.. a little bit easier but i don’t know how to tangkap the angle… sad case..

twitching eye

*twitch* Pictures, Images and PhotosI am feeling so like Scrat…

Imagine,, twitch twitch twitch, when i am teaching, twitch twitch when i even about to sleep.. twitch twitch.. it’s kind of an irritation… sigh…
found this article online

Eye twitching, eyelid tics and spasms are pretty common. Usually only the bottom lid of one eye is involved, but the top eyelid also can twitch. Most eye twitches come and go, although they can last for weeks or even months.

To find a solution for twitching eyes, we needed to determine the underlying cause of this annoying problem. Called myokymia in doctor lingo, these rippling muscle contractions in an eyelid can be triggered by:
  • Stress
  • Tiredness
  • Eye strain   (am experiencing those in bold)
  • Caffeine
  • Alcohol
  • Dry eyes
  • Nutritional imbalances
  • Allergies
Almost all sudden-onset eyelid twitching is benign, meaning the condition is not serious or a sign of a medical problem. However, this kind of eye twitching also can be hard to treat. The only option for making the twitching stop may be to figure out the cause and deal with it.
More serious forms of eyelid twitching are caused by neurological conditions such as blepharospasm or hemifacial spasm. These conditions are much less common and should be diagnosed and treated by an eye doctor.

Why Does My Eye Twitch?

Stress: While we're all under stress at times, our bodies react in different ways. Eye twitching can be one sign of stress, especially when it is related to vision problems such as eye strain (see below). Reducing the cause of the stress can help make the twitching stop.

Tiredness: A lack of sleep, whether because of stress or some other reason, can trigger eyelid spasms. Catching up on your sleep can help.
Eye strain: Vision-related stress can occur if, for instance, you need glasses or a change of glasses. Your eyes may be working too hard, triggering eyelid twitching. Computer eye strain from computer use is also a very common cause of vision-related stress.
If your eyelid twitching is persistent and very annoying (like the problem experienced by my patient's wife), you should have an eye exam, because you may need vision correction. If you spend a lot of time on the computer, you also should consider talking to your eye doctor about special computer eyeglasses.
Caffeine and alcohol: Many experts believe that too much caffeine and/or alcohol can trigger eye twitches. If your caffeine (coffee, tea, soda pop, etc.) and/or alcohol intake has increased, cutting back is worth a try.
Dry eyes: More than half the older population experiences dry eyes, due to aging. Dry eyes also are very common for people who use computers, take certain medications (antihistamines, antidepressants, etc.), wear contact lenses and consume caffeine and/or alcohol. If you are tired and under stress, you also may develop dry eye. It's best to see your eye doctor for a dry eye evaluation, because many treatments are now available.
Nutritional imbalances: Some reports indicate a lack of certain nutritional substances, such as magnesium, can trigger eyelid spasms. Although these reports lack scientific evidence, I can't rule this out as a possible cause of eyelid twitching. If you suspect a nutritional deficiency may be affecting you, however, I suggest talking this over with your family doctor for expert advice rather than randomly buying over-the-counter nutritional products.
Allergies: People with eye allergies can have itching, swelling and watery eyes. When eyes are rubbed, this releases histamine into the lid tissues and the tears. This is significant, because some evidence indicates that histamine can cause eyelid twitching.
To offset this problem, some eye doctors have recommended antihistamine eye drops or tablets to help some eyelid twitches. But remember that antihistamines also can cause dry eyes. It's best to work with your eye doctor to make sure you're doing the right thing for your eyes.

Eye Twitching Remedies

In rare cases, some eye twitches just don't go away. Some of these types of twitches can be successfully treated with Botox injections that help stop muscle contractions. See your eye doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment if the twitching affects half your face or your entire eye, causing the lids to clamp shut.
So, what caused my patient's wife to have eyelid twitching? The problem turned out to be a combination of dry eyes and an incorrect contact lens prescription. Luckily, I was able to solve her annoying problem by prescribing new bifocal contacts made of a material designed specifically for people with dry eyes.

character of a person

Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power.
Abraham Lincoln  16th president of US (1809 - 1865)
Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.  Helen Keller (1880 - 1968)

When the character of a man is not clear to you, look at his friends. (a Japanese proverbs)

Mayest thy day be blessed.

Which one are you? The sheep or the goat?

Ruth went to her mail box and there was only one letter.

She picked it up and looked at it before opening, but then she looked at the envelope again.

There was no stamp, no postmark, only her name and address.
She read the letter:

Dear Ruth:

I`m going to be in your neighborhood Saturday afternoon and I'd like to stop by for a visit.

Love
Always,

Jesus

Her hands were shaking as she placed the letter on the table... 'Why would the Lord want to visit me?
I'm nobody special. I don't have anything to offer.' With that thought, Ruth remembered her empty kitchen cabinets. 'Oh my goodness, I really don't have anything to offer. I'll have to run down to the store and buy something for dinner.'   She reached for her purse and counted out its contents. Five dollars and forty cents.

Well, I can get some bread and cold cuts, at least.'
She threw on her coat and hurried out the door. A loaf of French bread, a half-pound of sliced turkey, and a carton of milk...leaving Ruth with grand total twelve cents to last her until Monday..

Nonetheless, she felt good as she headed home, her meager offerings tucked under her arm.

'Hey lady, can you help us,lady?'

Ruth had been so absorbed in her dinner plans, she hadn't even noticed two figures huddled in the alleyway.
A man and a woman, both of them dressed in little more than rags. 'Look lady, I ain't got a job, you know, and my wife and I have been living out here on the street, and, well, now it's  getting cold and we're getting kinda Hungry and, well, if you could help us.. Lady, we'd really appreciate it.'

Ruth looked at them both.
They were dirty, they smelled bad and frankly, she was certain that they could get some kind of work if they really wanted to...   'Sir, I'd like to help you, but I'm a poor woman myself. All I have is a few cold cuts and some bread, and I'm having an important guest for dinner tonight and I was planning on serving that to Him.'

'Yeah, well, okay lady, I understand. Thanks anyway.'

The man put his arm around the woman's  Shoulders, turned and headed back into the alley.

As she watched them leave, Ruth felt a familiar twinge in her heart.    'Sir, wait!'

The couple stopped and turned as she ran down the alley after them..   'Look, why don't you take this food. I'll figure out something else to serve my guest...'

She handed the man her grocery bag..
'Thank you lady. Thank you very much!'

'Yes, thank you!' It was the man's wife, and Ruth could see now that she was
shivering
'You know, I've got another coat at home.

Here, why don't you take this one.'
Ruth unbuttoned her jacket and slipped it over the woman's shoulders. Then smiling, she turned and walked back to the street...without her coat and with
nothing to serve her guest..

'Thank you lady!

Thank you very much!'

Ruth was chilled by the time she reached her front door, and worried too.
The Lord  was coming to visit and she didn't have anything to offer Him. She fumbled through her purse for the door key. But as she did, she noticed another envelope in her mailbox.

'That's odd. The mailman doesn't usually come twice in one day.'

Dear Ruth:

It was so good to see you again.
Thank you for the lovely meal.   And thank you, too, for the beautiful coat.
  Love Always,
Jesus

The air was still cold, but even without her coat, Ruth no longer noticed.

The Sheep and the Goats matt 25:31:46
31“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. 32All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
34“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

37“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
40“The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’
41“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’

44“They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’
45“He will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’
46“Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

May we be conscious and aware of the opportunities around us.

What is an elevator?

Well, it depends....

Or these...

Here's the tools that your dentist will use.

Dentists have a variety of instruments that they use to manipulate and apply pressure to teeth. Some of them are specialized pliers termed "extraction forceps." Dentists also use levers that are called "elevators" (they look somewhat similar to small screwdrivers).
Photobucket

A dentist will usually use an elevator first. These tools are intended to be wedged between the tooth and the bone surrounding it. The force the dentist applies to the elevator in turn places pressure on the tooth. This action on the tooth helps to expand its socket and separate it from its ligament. It's somewhat common that a tooth can be extracted with just the use of an elevator.  ouch!!!!!

The Miry Clay

Devotional for Sunday, March 9, 1997 by Robin Ross

The work of a potter moulding the clay at his wheel is well understood as a Biblical analogy of the relationship between God and us, His people, because the basics of the potter's craft have changed very little over the centuries.
Potters take great care in selecting and preparing the clay that they use. Some add special kinds of grass to the mud, and as the organic matter rots and decays, it increases the colloidal content of the clay and helps it to stick together better. However, the process of decay produces an overpowering stench in the pit where the clay is kept. When he's ready, the potter reaches down into the mire, feeling around for an appropriate lump of clay for his next project. Then he lifts it out, shapes it into a ball, and carefully centres it on his wheel. This potter's wheelhead is a round slab of stone, which combines flywheel and wheelhead in one piece. The stone was hewn from rock in the mountains behind his primitive shop. Knowing this gives new meaning to this verse:

Psalm 40:1 - He lifted me out of the horrible, slimy pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock.
Perhaps we don't appreciate the great care God exercises in preparing and selecting us for His use. Many of us can identify with the slimy, smelly pit of our former sinful ways, out of which God has lifted us. If Christ is the Rock upon which we stand, to be of maximum use to Him, our life has to be absolutely centred on Christ. Are we willing to be clay in the hands of the master Potter?

Prayer: Lord God, help us to identify clearly the love with which You have prepared and chosen us for Your eternal purposes. "Mould me and make me after Thy will, while I am waiting, yielded and still." Amen.
